Hello! so, here we are , it’s DECEMBER! Finally.

So let’s start this month with a new topic.

Do you listen to music while reading? If you do, what kind of music?

I would say it depends.

Reading books with music isn’t exactly fixed.
Additionally, it depends on where and when you are reading. Loud conversations among passengers on a flight irritates me.

The place I’m reading, my mood, and the topic, all influence this at different times. I prefer to read while listening to music when I’m in a noisy place. “Noisy” in the sense that I can distinguish every person’s voice and most likely hear whole discussions.

My purpose in employing music to read, improve my concentration.

I am aware that certain people think it is distracting to read while listening to music since they may find themselves only focusing on the music rather than the text they are reading.

But I have to say that when i listen to music, i use my playlist or look on spotify for: ‘reading background’

Does it depend on the book you’re reading?

My music don’t depends on the book.

But i’ve to say that my mood actually affects whether or not I use music.

What’s a song that you feel matches your current read?

none at the moment

Does music ever distract from your reading?

No! I find it more distracting to listen on several discussions around me. So, I use music to block out background noise, At some point the music is playing, but I’m not listening, and I’m not even sure which songs have played since I’m absorbed in what I’m reading.

Do you prefer to read in silence?

it depends on different things: the time, the place, the mood!!
