Are there any books or genres that give off autumn vibes to you?
I like putting together my fall reading list.
My fall reads always consist of a combination of cozy books and fall vibes, but also dark, gothic literature, crime/ mistery. Generally speaking, those books that make you want to curl up with a warm sweater and a cup of tea beside a window and enjoy the splendor of fall.
Autumn is a meaningful season.
If it were a sentiment, it would be longing or nostalgia and any kind of sensation evoked by it;
if it were a period of time, twilight.
Autumn has a timeless, classic vibe that will never go out of style, I usually relate that to the orange/brownish color.
It feels brief compared to the other seasons; it’s like a “interlude” or “in-between.” Everything about Autumn is kind of dramatic, including the weather and the changing foliage, but it also has a brief fleeting aspect to it.
I want to feel the chill in the air, hear the crunch of the leaves, and smell fall in all its goodness — you know, that crisp autumn smell.
Are there any books that you just wouldn’t read during the fall?
