She believes in Fate. He’s calling her bluff.
As a teen, Indy learned that Destiny would lead her to the man of her dreams.
His name was Nick.
Fifteen years later, Fate grants her a second chance at her One True Love. And even though leaving her house for anything less than a latte is terrifying, Indy has to take it.
See, Indy O’Neall isn’t anything like the adventurous heroine she writes.
For her, a good night is sharing a pint of mint chip ice cream with her roommate Sasha while cheering on the best damn basketball team in the league.
But this is Destiny calling. Indy can’t ignore it.
Unfortunately, one man is standing in her way.
Ethan Fraser.
He’s six feet of confidence in the body of a superhero, and a bone to pick with her future husband. Indy is happy to steer clear of the gorgeous, motorcycle-riding, rock-climbing, elementary teacher.
The problem is, no matter what Indy does, all roads seem to lead back to Ethan.
Ethan is charming. Ethan is flirtatious. But Ethan isn’t her soulmate.

I am absolutely thrilled to share my thoughts on the free eARC book that I recently got my hands on thanks to NetGalley!

Despite being a novella, the pace of the story was just right – quick enough to keep me engaged and invested in the characters and their lives. while the slow-burn element added a layer of depth to the narrative that made it all the more satisfying to read. As I made my way through the book, I found myself experiencing a range of emotions – from joy to sadness, laughter to tears, and everything in between. The characters were so well-written and relatable that I couldn’t help but feel invested in their stories and root for them. As a reader, it was easy to get lost in the characters’ life. Indy, the drama queen, and the humor of the story, struggles with her emotions that readers can sympathize with. Ethan, on the other hand, is the epitome of what we all want in a partner: patient, kind, supportive, and unwavering in his affection. He takes the romance bar and raises it to impossible heights. It’s refreshing to read about a man who not only respects Indy’s emotions but actively encourages her to embrace them.

But what really stood out to me, was the dynamic between these two. Indy’s endearing quirks and flaws were balanced perfectly with Ethan’s steady and reliable nature.

Oops!! I forgot! … Ethan’s sweet nickname for Indy, Snoopy, is just too cute

oh! also, don’t get me started on that steamy mirror scene – definitely NSFW!

Watching their relationship grow and evolve over time was both heartwarming and relatable, but I’ve to say that Indy and Ethan’s story ends all too soon, leaving me yearning for more.

So, If you’re looking for an enchanting love story that will leave you laughing, crying, and swooning, look no further – this is it!

Thank you to #NetGalley and #DaniMcLean for the eARC copy.

Buy it. Read it. Love it.
